Who Am I?

My Journey

My name is Tyler Sumner. I am a first year business arts major with a focus in sports broadcasting  at Dean College in Franklin Massachusetts. My experience at dean has been nothing but amazing. I have met some of my best friends here. 

 During the summer I will be interning with the Newport Gulls Collegiate Baseball League located in Newport Rhode Island. The Newport Gulls is part of the NECBL (New England Collegiate Baseball League) I will be working in the Media Production dept. under the media production manager  as a production assistant. I believe by interning with the Gulls over the summer will be beneficial  to me as it will help me gain more experience  to further my dream of becoming a sports broadcaster.

My three words that best describe me are goal oriented, passionate, and committed. I chose goal oriented  because I am focused on reaching a specific goal to achieve a planned outcome, passionate is because I am focused on what can be rather than what is, and I am always chasing my goals so that I can achieve them. Lastly is committed. Committed is because I am  always trying to make new goals and striving to push the boundaries and achieve more.  One of my biggest strengths is public speaking. I love speaking in front of a group and being creative with my presentations. One of my weakness is self confidence but I feel I am getting better with that.
